You'd be suprised that they might help you..or even invite you to their guild. Then someone out of my guild essentially gave me awful"CRA" equips. Now all I want are the trousers and I got the whole set. In the meantime, I am fighting GOLLUX too due to his rings and such. I am also doing Commerci ship quests for the sweetwater items. You might consider trying for these also.
