 The game is totally free and developer Grinding Gear Games has promised Path of Exile should never be "pay to win".

In not so great for gamers, the PS4 edition of Path of Exile will never be ready over time for Christmas as POE Trade planned.

Grinding Gear Games apologised for your delay, saying the studio "underestimated the number of work it would choose to use finish the certification process in Cheap POE Currency throughout the busy Christmas period."

The developer is actually expecting to finish the certification process inside early new year, with Path of Exile potentially launching on PlayStation 4 by early February.
