The most famous golf course in the world might be less than a week old. We're referring to Fortnite's Lazy Links course that has been inserted on July 12 as part of the video game's Season 5 update. If you're unfamiliar with Fortnite, it's an exceptionally popular conflict royale-style video game in which 100 players jump out of a flying bus, property on an island and compete to be the last one standing.

The island has numerous places with alliteration-heavy titles where players can land to find treasure chests, collect items and harvest materials, and Lazy Links is among the latest additions. We reserved a tee time in the country club, which surprisingly has a fairly lenient dress code despite its lavish accomodations, also spent an afternoon buy fortnite materials exploring all it has to offer.

Lazy Links is a nine-hole, par-3 course. Like the dedicated journalists we're, we checked each and every hole mark on the path so as to confirm that it really is a par-3 course.Side note: Do you know how hard it is to check every hole marker at a video game in which you will find 99 competitions and you only get one life per match? Let us just say it took more than 1 try.
