The cross-progression debacle has been a sort of turning point for Sony, which dominated the present generation by countering Microsoft's early restrictionist moves with gamer-friendly policies on things like connectivity and used games. Update: I've seen some confusion about Twitter, so it should be evident that unlinking your PSN account doesn't let you migrate your Epic account to Xbox One and Switch. The account is tagged as having been connected to PSN, and it won't be changed. The Epic Games website is quite clear about this when you attempt to unlink your accounts --notice the previous box.

Just like Season 4, Fortnite: Battle Royale Season 5 has an ultimate prize.
