On Thursday, Jagex affirmed a part of the Old School Runescape group was disregarded. Signs point to the dismissal of Mod Jed while the suspended team member's name was not revealed. The news comes three days after the Twitter accounts of
RuneScape gold Mod Jed was suddenly shut down.
Mod Jed has been at the middle of a continuing corruption controversy that surfaced in November 2017. The mod has been accused of using his position to affect the PvP clan with, ROT. Here is the official notice posted by Jagex:"We confirm that a Member of The Old School Team has been dismissed from job at Jagex subsequent gross misuse of moderator privileges.
Throughout our rigorous routine procedure tests, irregular activity was identified on small amount of accounts, for example, motion of wealth and objects back to the live game.Following our evaluation, we could solve the issue before any substantial impact was made to the broader match, or market. We also have taken steps to return things and GP to some affected accounts. Whilst we do not return items or gold, we feel that given this unusual situation, we wanted to guarantee no players lost out into the rogue actions of a member of staff.
