Not actually doubled but I'd state a 25% growth or so. Atm that the site says 150k gamers (knowing that its the playercount of OSRS and RS3 combined, its still alot). OSRS has 116k and the website says 150k (assessed while typing this comment), so 34k individuals on RS3, thats fairly nice.I want more people would stick around on RS3. You get to have the game. Of course, I wind up quitting because it's essentially a single-player game, even outside of ironman. I can easily walk from 1 side of this map into another rather than see a single player on many worlds. 90 percent of my time is still in Old School, but it is nice to come back to RS3 on occasion.
Genuine question. Why do people always say'Ironman is fun bc you get to have the sport without mtx' could you not experience it with no mtx by just,y'understand not partaking in said mtx? Or do you view it as the economy was tainted by mtx so you dont wanna interact with this area of the game? Nobody else does because even in the event that you understand your achievements were your own. Nobody else can see the heritage you built.One of the draws of multiplayer games will be the way others react to your avatar and the way you respond to other people. You're able to tell experienced individuals and non experienced. Why build something with hard work when someone else can dig the system? This is fundamentally the same as both monkeys in a cage completing the same task - 1 monkey gets a cucumber and another a grape. The grape is vastly the better reward so the monkey using the cucumber becomes frustrated. We're not any different. When we can see others get the same / better rewards for simpler / equivalent work we view how unjust it is.
The major difficulty RS3 has is that if you're not addicted to the sport to commit to the random grinds(fall log names, pets, trim, etc) the pace at which you finish the sport is too fast. So people reach the"I'm maxed now what?" Phase of the game faster, and that's where buy RS gold most men and women get bored and stop until new content. But lately RS3 has been only getting new content like 3-5x annually. Like we're 1/4th performed with 2020 and only have War's Retreat and maybe Arch pending any additional delays.
