TORONTO -- It was a good news-bad news kind of day for Toronto Argonauts head coach Scott Milanovich. ECCO Uomo Yucatan Sandali 069564-52340 Bisonte Nere/Nere . His star quarterback may have escaped serious injury, but it looks like his standout running back will be sidelined for a while. Milanovich said Tuesday that Argonauts quarterback Ricky Ray, the CFLs leading passer, is day-to-day with the knee injury he suffered in last weeks road win over Winnipeg, while running back Chad Kackert, last years Grey Cup MVP, is gone four to six weeks due to the knee injury he sustained versus the Bombers. "Ricky is day-to-day, hes significantly better than he was a year ago," Milanovich told reporters Tuesday. "Itll probably be a later in the week decision . . . but its not nearly the severity it was a year ago (when Ray was out with an injury to the same knee). "Chad Kackert is going to be a little longer. Were anticipating four-to-six weeks as an estimate. Obviously it can go either way . . . that one is a little bit worse." Toronto also released veteran linebacker Brandon Isaac. It was a surprising move given Isaac was a team captain and just one of five starters back from last years Grey Cup-winning defence. "This decision was made by the coaching staff that we think gives us a chance to be a little better at that position," Milanovich said. "I do appreciate what Brandons done and what he can do as a football player. "Sometimes you have to make hard choices that you think somebody else can do the job a little better." Milanovich said the club will look at giving youngsters Josh Gatlin and Jamie Robinson a shot at taking the vacant position but could also have new players in camp soon to challenge for it. Ray missed nearly a month last season after spraining the same left knee in a game. Should Ray be unable to play July 30 when Toronto hosts B.C. at Rogers Centre, Milanovich said he has a replacement in mind but wouldnt say if it would be Zach Collaros or Trevor Harris. When Ray was hurt against Winnipeg, Milanovich had sophomores Collaros and Harris both take snaps for the remainder of the game. "Theyre both doing a fantastic job and theyre both working hard at it," Milanovich said. "Theyve both been in games now, which is a good thing. "Its the reason why we felt comfortable enough not to bring Jarious (veteran backup Jarious Jackson) back. Obviously he had a great opportunity in B.C. but we also felt like these young kids had a chance to grow and move into that role. If Ricky is not able to go then theyre going to have to really prove it against a great defence." Jackson served as Rays backup last season before retiring as a player and joining the Lions as their quarterback coach in the off-season. Fortunately for the Argos (2-2), they have the benefit of time. Toronto doesnt return to action until Tuesday when it hosts the B.C. Lions at Rogers Centre. With Kackert out, rookie Curtis Steele will move into the starting lineup against B.C. "Weve got a lot of confidence in him," Milanovich said. "Weve been trying to prepare him for this because you never know, when youre the backup tailback anything can happen. "Certainly its tough (losing Kackert) . . . we have to do a good job as coaches giving (Steele) a chance to be successful." Rookie defensive lineman Nekos Brown, who opened the season as a starter, and offensive lineman Michael Di Domenico were also released while the club added defensive backs Ricardo Colclough and Hugo Lopez and running back Chris Jennings. MVP: (KEVIN DURANT-Thunder) - Has been sensational this season and more importantly, the most consistent player in the league. Considering that his team has been without star guard Russell Westbrook and with the free agent departure of sharpshooter Kevin Martin, hes had to carry the majority of the load to not only keep his team afloat but more importantly, at an elite level. http://www.eccoscarpeitalia.it/ecco-uomo-intrinsic-sandali-842004-55894-tarmac-tarmac.html . The Croatian served 21 aces and hit 42 winners against Sijsling, who double-faulted to give Cilic a 4-3 lead in the deciding set. "All the players, they know me and they were really happy to see me and they were really happy that this is over for me," Cilic said. The hockey world is a tight community. Yet, its also a business. And with big money comes intense pressure to deliver. General managers, coaches and players are paid to win, and thus they come and go. They understand the realities of their jobs. But the firing of Gerard Gallant by the Florida Panthers?on Sunday night hit a collective nerve. Even tough hockey decisions normally meet a threshold of fairness, but it doesnt feel like this one did.The response I got to Gallants firing from team executives and coaches around the league was a universal shaking of the head. A coach who was nominated for the Jack Adams Award last season is gone just 22 games into the 2016-17 campaign -- while his team is over .500 and has battled key injuries since the get-go.The fact that photos surfaced of Gallant having to hail his own cab in Raleigh, North Carolina, after being told he was fired -- well, that just adds to the level of outrage for many.I suspect that Gallant knew he was on the clock from the moment former GM Dale Tallon was promoted to president of hockey operations last spring. Gallant had been Tallons coach. And now Tallon had been punted from the day-to-day hockey decision-making.You cant fire a coach right after he has been nominated for coach of the year, can you? But the Panthers canned Gallant. For no justifiable reason. Some of this has to do with a clash between the Panthers analytics group and old-school guys such as Tallon and Galllant. Ecco Track 6 Gtx Plain Toe. And Im not here to fan the flames of that debate. I think you need to keep an open mind to both analytics and how best to use that information, within the context of understanding what makes a player useful just from knowing the game. Theres room for both schools of thought in hockey, and Im mighty tired of people trying to make you pick a side. The silver lining for Gallant is that he has two more years on his contract past this season. He has time to make his next coaching gig a good one. And he will get another opportunity, to be sure. Hes too good a coach not to get another look soon. As my colleagues Craig Custance and Joe McDonald suggested, perhaps Las Vegas GM George McPhee will consider Gallant as a candidate to be the first coach of the expansion Vegas Golden Knights. What will be fascinating in Florida is how people assess credit/blame for the Panthers performance moving forward. Florida still has a great core, one that Tallon built and Gallant molded, players who love their former coach. If and when the Panthers achieve sustained success, will the narrative be about the new regime bringing the program to the next level or that the Tallon-Gallant partnership gave this team its true kick-start?There will be probably room for both. But what is clear is that Gallant deserved better.Wholesale Nike NFL JerseysYouth NFL Jerseys CheapWholesale NFL Camo JerseysDisocunt Football JerseysDisocunt Football JerseysCheap JerseysJerseys Wholesale ' ' '
