Path of Exile is coming to Xbox One in 2010 von zw1100s Blog

Path of Exile, the celebrated isometric action-RPG from indie studio Grinding Gear, is available only on PC for the good while in various forms. The free-to-play title will likely be making the jump to consoles, though, having an Xbox One version scheduled for release this season.

Grinding Gear confirmed which the game can also be free-to-play on Xbox One, and include all content available today in the Buy POE Currency PC version, such as the upcoming 3.0.0 expansion.

That said, each platform can play on a separate realm, so no cross-play involving the two. “This is caused by small gameplay differences involving the two versions, such as number of Flask slots and exactly how some skills are targeted,” the developer explained in a very blog post.

With that in your mind, the identical schedule for seasons, along with content updates, are going to be the same across PC and Xbox One.

“We’re really pumped up about this release. It represents at least a year of work at a small strike team in the POE Items studio – the people who also created our DirectX 11 version,” the announcement said.

No other details were confirmed, like a solid release date, or whether other platforms are going to be getting the game inside the future.
