Does your fantasy football team need to bounce back after an embarrassing loss? Did the new I.T. kid drop 200 on your team last week? We’re here to help you make the best moves possible for your fantasy team this week.Week 8 in the NFL brings us one step closer to the fantasy playoffs Youth Renell Wren Jersey , and if you aren’t in a position to punch your ticket for the dance, at least you could try and make sure someone else doesn’t get their ticket either.Bye Weeks: Falcons, Cowboys, Chargers and TitansMust startsPhillip Lindsay (Broncos RB): Lindsay has had a productive season in fantasy so far. Honestly, the only thing holding him back is the team had drafted Royce Freeman ahead of him, and the team clinging onto playing him really hurt his value. Freeman is dealing with a high ankle sprain and is listed day-to-day. Lindsay should see plenty of the Chiefs defense that has struggled to contain opposing running backs by allowing 24.8 points per game, according to Fantasy Pros.Adam Thielen (Vikings WR): Thielen has recorded seven straight 100-yard receiving games, and has been undoubtedly the most consistent receiver in fantasy football this season. He has been Kirk Cousins’ favorite target, and they are going up the Saints who boast the second easiest defense to score on if you are a receiver in fantasy. Favorable matchupsMarlon Mack (Colts RB): Mack missed a number of games to start the season, but he sure looked healthy against the Bills as he totaled 159 yards and two touchdowns. He has an even easier matchup against the Raiders defense this week, which ranks as the third worst in the NFL.Jarvis Landry (Browns WR): Landry had 10 catches for 97 yards and a touchdown last week. He was targeted 15 times, and that isn’t by accident. Landry is probably Baker Mayfield’s most trusted target White Renell Wren Jersey , as the rest of the Browns have struggled with drops. The Steelers allow 30.6 points per game to opposing receivers, which is the most in the NFL, so expect Landry to get his again.Good but not greatRaheem Mostert (49ers RB): Matt Bredia aggravated an ankle injury early last week, which opened the door for Mostert to be super efficient with his touches. He had 59 yards on seven carries and even caught four passes. If you’re looking for running back help, Mostert should be a huge help this week.T.Y. Hilton (Colts WR): It was a strange game for Hilton against the Bills as he only had four catches for 25 yards, but two of those catches were for touchdowns. Hilton is known more for his big plays, which is something we can expect this week against a Raiders team that may be going through a little bit of a revolt against their head coach.Temper expectationsChristian McCaffrey (Panthers RB): The Ravens are the stingiest defense against opposing running backs. They only allow 7.1 points per game. McCaffrey has likely been relied on in PPR leagues as he is the fourth most targeted running back in the NFL. It still could be pretty rough sledding for the Panthers’ running back though. It also doesn’t help that he only has one touchdown on the year either.Antonio Brown (Steelers WR): I wouldn’t sit Brown by any means, but in his first meeting with Cleveland Brown caught nine passes for 93 yards and a touchdown in a tie against the Browns. That was rookie corner back Denzel Ward’s debut in the NFL. He has played a lot better since then, and he could be shadowing Brown all across the field. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Brown has a good game, but I also wouldn’t be shocked if he was held to an average type game without a touchdown.Quarterback streamBaker Mayfield (Browns QB): Mayfield didn’t play Week 1 during the Browns’ tie against the Steelers awful pass defense. The Browns could easily see a big game from their first overall pick. At the very least the Browns could be forced to abandon the running game in order to keep up with the Steelers’ offense.Case Keenum (Broncos QB): Keenum hasn’t been great for the Broncos, but he has a nice matchup this week against the Chiefs who have allowed the fifth most points to opposing quarterbacks this season. Also expect plenty of garbage time points.Defense streamColts defenses against the Raiders: If you picked up the Colts defense a few weeks ago now is not the time to drop them. The Raiders just got rid of one of their best weapons on offense, and it seems like there is a circus going on in Oakland right now.Bengals defense against the Buccaneers: Hear me out. The Buccaneers have a negative nine turnover ratio. Jameis Winston has thrown six interceptions and four fumbles (only one was lost) in less than three games. The Bucs look like a turnover machine Nick Vigil Jersey White , and one defensive touchdown is all it could take to reap the rewards of playing this defense. Would the Bengals take a quarterback over a linebacker? Or a linebacker over a top-5 player?"WhiteFanposts Fanshots Sections #BITESIZEFilm RoomRoster Transactions and ContractsOrange & Black InsiderSalary Cap And CBANFL DraftMock DraftsMel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay have Bengals going in different directions in dueling mock draftNew,93commentsWould the Bengals take a quarterback over a linebacker? Or a linebacker over a top-5 player?EDTShareTweetShareShareMel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay have Bengals going in different directions in dueling mock draftJeff Curry-USA TODAY SportsIt seems like the closer the 2019 NFL Draft gets, the less we actually know about what will happen. A couple picks inside the top five seem to be stone cold locks, but it’s difficult to gaze through the annual smoke storm that comes around this time of year. For ESPN’s Mel Kiper Jr. and Todd McShay, both of their latest mock drafts come together in the form of a dueling two-round session and completely agree on how the first seven picks will turn out to be. Beyond that lies contradicting selections that shake up the rest of the remaining 64 selections. The Bengals happen to one of the teams that Kiper and McShay differ on in both rounds. But before they were on the clock, the following players were off both boards:Kyler MurrayNick BosaJosh AllenQuinnen WilliamsDevin WhiteDwayne HaskinsJawaan TaylorT.J. HockensonYou know who was the last quarterback taken outside of the top three picks in the first round not by a team that traded up for him? E.J. Manuel. The Bills actually traded down eight spots in the 2013 NFL Draft and ended up snagging Manuel, who was also the first quarterback taken that year. This is not an indictment on Lock, but more of a reality check. First round quarterbacks never fall into the hands of teams who didn’t finish at the top of the draft order, and it won’t likely happen to Lock either, or Haskins for that matter, who ended up with the Giants at sixth overall in both mocks. But, Kiper chose Lock over the likes of Devin Bush Womens Anthony Munoz Jersey , Brian Burns and Christian Wilkins because of positional value, while McShay decided to address the Bengals’ biggest need in Bush and passing on a superior talent in Ed Oliver in the process. Oliver went ninth overall to the Bills in Kiper’s mock.Kiper attacked the linebacker position for the Bengals in the second round while McShay moved on to another glaring need. If the Bengals go quarterback or any other position that’s not linebacker in round one, you can bet they won’t wait long to eventually fill the need. Wilson is probably not going to hear his name called in the first 32 picks, but the Alabama pedigree and his perceived upside at just 21 years of age will entice franchises before long.Interestingly enough, Wilson remained on the board by the end of McShay’s mock, and likely for good reason. His lack of elite production and athleticism testing are major concerns for his long-term outlook, and other linebackers have done much more in terms of boosting their stock.McShay’s pick in McGary is a logical one. McGary confirmed his elite athleticism at the NFL combine after flashing dominance at the Senior Bowl the month prior. There’s even buzz about him coming off the board late in the first round. If he’s there at pick No. 42, you have to assume he’ll be a part of the conversation. The Bengals need depth at offensive tackle like no other position, and can be expected to address that depth as early as day two of the draft.Which scenario would you prefer the Bengals emulate?
