The somber, pessimistic vibe that made for an uncomfortable Bahamas breeze last December turned out to be spot on. Ducks Jerseys Store . Tiger Woods looked and sounded like a guy who was not going to be playing competitive golf for a good while, and this week that feeling became reality.By withdrawing from the PGA Championship and his agent, Mark Steinberg, saying he would not play during the rest of 2015-16 season -- a matter of weeks at this point -- it was assured that more than a year will have passed between Woods tournaments. It shouldnt be a surprise, and its not news, really. The guy sits out nearly a year, has hardly been able to string consecutive rounds of golf together -- his own admission last month -- and hes going to tee it up at Baltusrol for the PGA Championship?Remember the talk that a links like Royal Troon would be okay given its not a strenuous walk? That its a flat course where he could get his golf ball around? Yeah, that cold, rainy weather would have been great for a bad back.Woods, 40, foreshadowed this at the Hero World Challenge in December, when it became apparent that his two back surgeries last fall were not going to allow him to come back in three months time like he did in 2014.The hardest part for me is theres really nothing I can look forward to, nothing I can build towards, Woods said in the Bahamas. Wheres the light at the end of the tunnel?Nearly eight months later, its still dark, apparently.Sure, there have been positive signs. Various updates have come with the words progressing nicely, which is a vague way of saying little. Progressing to putting one foot in front of the other? Or swinging a golf club at more than 120 mph, the speed necessary to compete in todays game? The various sightings at clinics in the spring were merely a tease that a comeback was imminent. At his Houston-area golf course opening in late April, Woods acknowledged it was the first time he had played any holes on a golf course. He played five that day and actually looked pretty good for a guy who had not played at all. He warmed up on the driving range and hit enough good shots to make you think that he wasnt that far away. But how did he feel the next day? We dont know, and therein lies the problem. For him to return to competitive golf, Woods -- at a minimum -- needs to be able to practice and play 18 holes a day for five consecutive days, maybe six. If he cant do that, then tournament golf is impossible. Then there is the lack of information surrounding his Oct. 28 back surgery, his second in six weeks. Woods has never disclosed what occurred. Was it more serious than the microdiscectomy he had six weeks earlier? It almost assuredly was, given the slow recovery. But nobody outside of his closest confidants knows, and maybe if that had been disclosed, the questions about a return would be less frequent.Steinberg has expressed frustration about having to give updates about various tournaments and his status, understandable in that nobody else is required to do so. Woods did not even issue a statement when it was announced he withdrew from The Open, letting the tournament handle it. Same with the PGA Championship, although Steinberg responded to media inquiries. While Woods has to deal with far more than anyone else when it comes to these matters -- how often was Jim Furyk queried about his return from wrist surgery earlier this year? -- some of this is his own making. At the Quicken Loans National last month, Woods was specifically asked if he had ruled out any future tournaments, including The Open and the PGA, and he said: No I havent. Im just playing it week to week and I keep getting better. I keep getting physically better. I just hope that everything clicks in and I can do it sooner rather than later. Its going to be later, despite the fleeting hope he gave that day by not ruling out any immediate events. Unless he plays overseas somewhere, which would seem unlikely, Woods is looking at an October return at the earliest. The first tournament of the 2016-17 season is the Safeway Open. That is more than two months away, and if he is able to go, thats where he should return. No event is below Woods at this point. When ready, he will need tournament golf, as much of it as he can handle, to find any kind of form. Las Vegas, Davis Loves RSM Classic, and Woods own Hero World Challenge are all tournaments that would make sense at the end of 2016.Unlike others who come back from injury and are granted a grace period, Woods is typically not given that luxury. But realistically, how good do you expect him to be after such a long layoff? It might take him months or longer to get competitive again. At Congressional last month, Woods spoke positively about his progress. He did not look or sound like the same disappointed player who expressed doubts about his future back in December. And yet we still wait, a major championship season about to pass with zero starts, the doubts still lingering.A 14-time major champion, Woods will now miss his 10th major championship in the 34 played since he won the 2008 U.S. Open. Its amazing to think that in the 34 he played to that point, he won 12 of them. The hope remains that Woods will get healthy enough to put together one last run, a final shot at greatness. Meanwhile, were not even sure if hes walking. Jakob Silfverberg Jersey . NBA officials ruled the court unplayable in the Bucks final exhibition game on Oct. 25 because players were slipping, and the game was cancelled midway through the first period. Cam Fowler Jersey . In Europe, top teams seem to be largely happy with their squads after spending nearly $1 billion in the off-season. And although English league clubs are unlikely to splash cash in January, Arsenal and Chelsea could be tempted to strengthen their squads with new strikers. http://www.authenticducksshopnhl.com/patrick-eaves-jersey/ .7 million, one-year contract, a raise of $2.2 million. Wieters had asked for $8.75 million and the Orioles had offered $6. Brisbane remain in the hunt for a top-four finish after stunning NRL leaders Melbourne with a dominant 26-16 victory at AAMI Park.Looking to atone for a crushing 48-6 loss at the hands of the Storm in round 17, the Broncos produced some of their best football of the season on Friday night to secure their fourth-straight win, moving level with the Cowboys and Bulldogs in fourth spot on the table. Two first-half tries to centre Tom Opacic set the tone for Brisbane, who dominated possession in the opening term and withheld a determined Storm outfit after the break to ensure the race for the top four goes down to the wire. The visitors clicked into gear from the outset, showing sublime ball-handling skills to stun the home side twice in early stages.Sam Thaiday celebrated his 250th NRL game in style thanks to a stunning one-handed offload that caught the Storm defence off-guard to set up Opacics opening try after three minutes.Jordan Kahus acrobatic effort in the right corner doubled his teams advantage five minutes later.A rare foray deep into Brisbane territory resulted in Melbourne second-rower Tohu Harris reaching over from close range after 26 minutes to halve the early deficit. But the visitors struck back with a Kahu penalty goal before cashing in on Marika Koroibetes dropped ball deep in Storm territory, allowing Opacic to score his second four-pointer with two minutes left in the half.Melbourne looked more energetic after the break but could not wear down Brisbanes defence. The Broncos made them pay with a polished back-line move that sent Darius Boyd over for a 20-4 lead after 55 minutes.Ben Hampton appeared to breathe life into the Storm when he crossed for his first try of the season with 15 minutes left. But fortune favoured Brisbane when a kick from broken play rolled into the Storms in-goal area, with Cooper Crronk slipping in pursuit to allow Jai Arrow to wrap up the match. Antoine Vermette Jersey. he Storm could have secured the minor premiership with a victory, but now face the prospect of a winner-takes-all clash with Cronulla for the JJ Giltinan Shield in the final round, provided the Sharks beat the Roosters on Saturday night.Brisbane coach Wayne Bennett was pleased to see his side take control of the match from the beginning. Our start was spot on - it had to be, said Bennett. They (Melbourne) always start well. You dont want to give them momentum and the boys were on from the kickoff. They kind of carried on from where they left off against Canterbury, so that was good.Bennett also praised the pressure and attitude his players applied right across the ground.Captain Corey Parker expressed pride in Brisbanes performance against the ladder-leading Storm. We had a game plan that we thought, if we could execute, wed be right in it, said Parker. Its just really satisfying to be able to do that, particularly against a good side at (their) home. They stuck it to us and it was a good game of footy going on but 1-17 turned up and we got the job done. While full of praise for the victors, Melbourne coach Craig Bellamy lamented another lethargic showing from his charges after similar recent first-half performances against South Sydney and Canberra.I just thought we were really poor defensively in the first half, said Bellamy. Especially at the start of the game, they scored two tries in the first seven or eight minutes. That put us behind the eight ball, to be quite honest, added Bellamy. We didnt really improve too much defensively in the first half. Our second half was a lot better but, by then, the horse had bolted. Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Wholesale Cheap Jerseys Wholesale Wholesale Authentic Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys 2018 Jerseys Wholesale ' ' '
