FLORHAM PARK, N. sWell Bottle Wood Australia Stockists .J. -- Brandon Marshall has experienced division in a losing NFL locker room. The star wide receiver sees no signs of that with the New York Jets, and he attributes that to one person:Todd Bowles, Marshall said about his coach. The criticism of Bowles has been building for a few weeks, and the calls by some fans and media for the 3-9 Jets to fire him have grown increasingly louder after a 41-10 drubbing on Monday night against the Indianapolis Colts.Marshall thinks that notion is silly, and so are the suggestions that the Jets are becoming a divided team that is in disarray with waning control from the coach. He was on the 2014 Chicago Bears team that went 5-11 and had players sniping at each other, as well as coaches.Im not trying to say anything bad about previous employment, but Ive been in a locker room in 2014 in the same exact situation, and it was 100 times worse, Marshall said Wednesday. The locker room was divided. There was a lot of division. There was a division between players, there was division between players and coaches. We dont have that.Weve had some tough conversations and we held each other accountable, but were still together. And thats promising. That Bears team, coached by Marc Trestman, was 5-6 before losing its last five games. There was in-fighting, with some blame pointed at Marshall himself. Chicago cleaned house after that season, including firing Trestman and general manager Phil Emery, and trading Marshall to the Jets. That was the worst environment and worst year Ive ever had, Marshall said. Ever. Ever. But there have been comparisons made to teams like those Bears, especially with the Jets on a four-game skid and looking at an uncertain future. You can look at it from the outside and say this is a similar situation, but its not, Marshall insisted. That whole organization was divided. Thats not the case here. Were together. Were having a bad year. Sometimes years like this build teams to be stronger.Marshall credits Bowles with unifying the team, refusing to allow outside chatter seep into the locker room and causing rifts between the players.Thats why were still together, is because hes real, Marshall said of Bowles. He tells it like it is and hes a man of his word.Marshall referred to Bowles threatening the team with running gassers in practice this summer if they got called for another penalty.Hes a mans man, Marshall said. The best way I can describe Coach is hes a mix between Bill Parcells and Lovie Smith. Those are the guys Ive been around -- Bill Parcells brought me to Miami; Lovie Smith, I had him in Chicago -- total opposite ends of the spectrum from the outside, but great guys to play for.Marshall was then asked if the Jets feel as though theyre playing the final four games to save Bowles job.No, Marshall said. I would hope not. How did that work out for Chicago? Sometimes you blow up stuff and you feel like thats the answer and its not.Marshall insisted NFL teams need time to build chemistry and to put together a winning plan. He also thinks Bowles should undoubtedly remain coach of the Jets beyond this season. You guys do remember a couple of years ago, he was probably the most coveted coach out there, Marshall asked. All of a sudden, he lost it?Game notes The 32-year-old Marshall, in his 11th season, says he wants to play 20 years in the NFL. ... New York had a lengthy list of player who didnt practice: S Antonio Allen (concussion), T Breno Giacomini (back, calf, shoulder), C Nick Mangold (ankle), WR Jalin Marshall (concussion), LB Lorenzo Mauldin (ankle), DT Steve McLendon (hamstring), RB Khiry Robinson (leg), LB Julian Stanford (ankle), DE Muhammad Wilkerson (ankle) and DE Leonard Williams (illness).---For more NFL coverage: http://www.pro32.ap.org and http://www.twitter.com/AP-NFL Swell Bottles Australia . -- Playing time has been limited for Maxim Tissot this season, so the Montreal Impact defender made the most of his first scoring opportunity on Saturday. Swell Bottle Free Shipping . LOUIS -- St. http://www.swellbottleaustralia.com/ . "It was nerve-wracking, but we pulled through," said Collaros, who threw four touchdown passes to lead the Toronto Argonauts (8-4) to a 33-27 win over the Calgary Stampeders (9-3) in front of 28,781 fans at McMahon Stadium. MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Kansas State has plenty of reasons to be wary about Missouri State rolling into town.Sure, the Football Championship Subdivision program is coming off a lackluster one-win season, and at first blush it looks like a total mismatch. But it was just four years ago that the Bears were tied with the Wildcats in the third quarter before things devolved into a 51-9 blowout. It was also just last week North Dakota State, which like the Bears (2-0) plays in the Missouri Valley Conference, sent a jolt through the Top 25 with its upset of then-No. 13 Iowa .In other words, dont expect the Wildcats (1-1) to be looking ahead to their Big 12 opener.People keep talking to me about North Dakota State. Yeah, we can beat them, Missouri State coach Dave Steckel said. But were going up against a very, very physical team. The Wildcats showcased that in last weeks 63-7 romp over Florida Atlantic. Winston Dimel ran for four touchdowns on just five carries, and the big fullback joined a cadre of running backs and a trio of elusive quarterbacks in piling up 336 yards rushing and seven scores. Not that Bill Snyder wanted to talk positives afterward.Instead, what jabbed their longtime coach in the side like a sharp stick were the penalties, an uncharacteristic 13 of them for 131 yards. The flags repeatedly put Kansas State in a hole on offense, and several times they wiped out what should have been significant gains. They were the kind of mistakes the Wildcats could afford against Florida Atlantic. Maybe even against Missouri State. But not when league play starts at West Virginia. It is a discipline element, Snyder said, and that requires accountability and coaches are responsible for implementing the accountability. It is not after the fact on game day. It is during the course of the week. We have to do a better job of holding players accountable. As the Bears prepare to visit Kansas State, here are some of the other story lines:STOUT DEFENSEMissouri State is allowing just 11 points per game, third-best in its division, and just 51.5 yards on the ground. But there is a big differennce between playing Southwestern (Kan. sWell Bottle Wood Australia. ) and Murray State, and playing a Big 12 opponent on the road.No matter who you play, you respect them. You prepare for them, said Steckel, who faced Kansas State often as a longtime assistant at Missouri. Theres no difference. This game is about us.SPEAKING OF DThe Wildcats limited Stanford and star running back Christian McCaffery in a 26-13 loss, then completely shut down the Owls last week. Florida Atlantic barely managed 200 yards of total offense and picked up one first down in the lopsided defeat.BIG BOY DROUGHTMissouri State has not beaten a Football Bowl Subdivision opponent since Sept. 1, 1990, when it beat UNLV. Thats 30 straight games. Among them was a 23-20 overtime loss to Oklahoma State in 1996, when current Kansas State co-offensive coordinator Del Miller was in his second year as head coach of the Bears.ERTZ-WHILE BACKUPKansas State quarterback Jesse Ertz has been disappointed with hi play through two games as a starter, particularly in the passing game. But despite Joe Hubeners success against the Owls, and some flashy moves by fellow backup Alex Delton, dont expect the Wildcats to think twice about keeping the ball in Ertzs hands .He is still a work in progress, Snyder said. He is gaining more and more in the way of exposure, and as he does so, he gains greater confidence and execution, and decision- making becomes better. It is the nature of the game.BACKFIELD BATTALIONThe Wildcats already planned to use Charles Jones, Justin Silman and Dalvin Warmack at running back. But when redshirt freshman Alex Barnes got into the mix against the Owls, it gave Kansas State one of the deepest stables in the Big 12 .It doesnt change much at all, Barnes said. Were all friends in the locker room. We have lockers right next to each other, so its not a competition that gets in the way of our friendship or our lives outside of football. We enjoy each others company and we have a lot of fun. ' ' '
