INDIANAPOLIS -- Andrew Luck looked fit and flawless for the Colts on Saturday.
Nike Air Force 1 UK Sale .In his first start since early November, Luck completed all eight of his passes, led the Colts on two long drives and avoided taking any hits in a 19-18 loss to Baltimore.Sure, its only preseason, but the Colts wanted to see which Luck would show up -- the guy who went to Pro Bowls in each of his first three NFL seasons or the turnover-prone quarterback who couldnt stay on the field in 2015.Luck was eager to come back, too, after seeing the Hall of Fame game cancelled two weeks ago and being benched in soggy Buffalo last week.It didnt take him long to get in sync.It was good to be out there, it was fun. It was a lot of fun, Luck said. Its like breathing. You just need more of it.He opened the game by leading the Colts on a 61-yard drive that set up Adam Vinatieri for a short field goal. He had Indy in position to score again -- until Dwayne Allen lost a fumble at the Baltimore 18-yard line. The final numbers: 8 of 8, 69 yards, no touchdowns, no interceptions, no sacks and two slides.Joe Flacco, Baltimores starting quarterback, did not play. Ryan Mallett and Josh Johnson each threw TD passes and No. 4 quarterback Jerrod Johnson led Baltimore on a late drive for a field goal.RAVENS RETURN OF 2-POINTER CLINCHES ITAfter Indy took an 18-17 lead on Stephen Morris 7-yard TD pass to Trey Williams with 3:54 left, the Colts played it by the book and tried a 2-point conversion. It was a huge mistake. Baltimores first stop was wiped out because Anthony Levine Sr. was called offside. With a second chance, Levine picked off Morris pass and returned it for two points to give the Ravens a 19-18 lead without a second ticking off the clock. Indy got one more chance to win it, but Pat McAfees 62-yard field-goal attempt came up short as time expired.BACKUP PLANMallett did nothing to hurt his standing as the No. 2 quarterback, going 6 of 8 for 47 yards with no interceptions. Josh Johnson had a big night, too, going 11 of 16 with 72 yards and finishing as the Ravens top runner with five carries for 40 yards. Scott Tolzien was 13 of 18 with 107 yards and one TD for the Colts. Morris was 7 of 11 for 66 yards.ROOKIE WATCHRavens: Left tackle Ronnie Stanley, Baltimores first-round draft pick, held his own against the Colts mostly vanilla defense by not allowing a sack.Colts: Rookie center Ryan Kelly played with Luck for the first time in a game, and Kelly helped make sure Luck stayed upright with solid blocking and no botched snaps.POSITION BATTLESRavens: Lardarius Webb is trying to win the starting safety job and looked like a good fit next to Eric Weddle. The safety tandem did not allow the Colts to take many deep shots.Colts: Even though Joe Reitz may have secured the starting right tackle job and Denzelle Good looks like the favorite at right guard, the Colts got a long look at rookie tackle LeRaven Clark, who is trying to play his way into the rotation.INJURY UPDATERavens: None.Colts: Starting cornerback Patrick Robinson left in the first quarter with a groin injury and rookie offensive lineman Joe Haeg left with an ankle injury in the second. The most significant injury might have been to the ankle of backup offensive lineman Kevin Graf, who left on a cart for the second time in two weeks.QUOTABLERavens: Coach John Harbaugh on Levines return: Anthony Levine, who is banged up and nicked up, to pick that off and take it to the house for the winning points was gigantic.Colts: Coach Chuck Pagano on his early impressions of Luck: He ran the offense, he made great decisions, we moved the ball up and down the field, but then we shot ourselves in the foot with penalties. We shouldve had two touchdowns.---This story has been corrected to show the first name of the Ravens coach is John, not Jim.---Online:AP NFL website:

Brooke Ramsier drew a foul when she was sandwiched by a pair of Aggie defenders 25 yards from goal. On the ensuing free kick, Ramsier sent a missile that deflected off the Texas A&M wall and past goalkeeper Danielle Rice for the equalizer with 35:57 remaining in the second half. With the match seeming destined for overtime, Emily Bates put together some fancy footwork to set up the winning goal in the 84th minute. Claudette Lassandro sent a pass to Bates 25 yards out along the touchline. Bates nutmegged the outside back and charged into the left side of the penalty box. The mercurial forward put it into another gear and surged past Karlie Gutsche. The Auburn center back was called for a foul on a late desperation tackle and the Aggies were granted the penalty kick.Haley Pounds got the goalkeeper to guess the wrong way and put the penalty kick into the back of the net with 6:44 remaining in the second half. The Aggie defense bowed up in the waning moments and held Auburn to just one shot in the late scurry.Rice came up huge for the Aggies, making six saves on the evening. All three of her saves in the first half were of the highlight reel variety as she helped Texas A&M go into the intermission knotted at 0-0. She stonewalled two shots by Casie Ramsier and one from Kristen Dodson in the opening act.Auburn defender Samantha Solaru made a brilliant play on an Aggies 18th minute corner kick to keep A&M off the scoreboard. Pounds sent the ball into the six-yard box from the left side where she found the head of Piper at the far post. Piper sent it diagonally to the near post, but Solaru rreacted quickly to head the ball off the goal line and Auburn was able to clear it from danger.

The Aggies leaped over Ole Miss and Alabama and into eighth place in the standings. The Aggies wrap up the regular-season Thursday as they travel to Starkville for a 7 p.m. match against the Mississippi State Bulldogs.TEXAS A&M QUOTESHead Coach G GuerrieriOn putting the winless streak behind them...Its funny what confidence you get from a dramatic win like we had on Thursday. This was a great effort again tonight to get a victory against a top 10-level team. Auburn was on a seven-game winning streak, the longest in their programs history and you can see why. They play well and have some real great athletes on the field and they really play with some good composure. It took a lot for us to keep the game in front of us and to be able to break on the chances that we had.On Danielle Rice saving three potential Auburn goals in the first half...Dani Rice was magnificent in her last game at Ellis Field. She was special. Auburn is great at putting together little passes that find the gaps. The Ramsier sisters do a fantastic job with it and (Kristen) Dodson up front is a handful and she makes it that more difficult on us. It feels real good to keep a great attacking team in check.Junior forward Haley PoundsOn the penalty kick goal...Weve been practicing penalty kicks all week. I was a little nervous going up there because of what was on the line. But, I felt pretty confident. I knew where I was going to place it and was able to execute and get the goal.On Emily Bates...Shes a huge asset. She is always creating chances for our team. All the credit goes to her for drawing that foul in the box and setting up that PK for me.Sophomore defender Kendall RitchieOn the second half play...We really picked it up in the second half. We felt really strong. This was probably our strongest second half we have had all season. ' ' '
