But they also have given up 69 points.Oakland needs to watch out for tight end Delanie Walker, who has become a major force in Nashville and had six catches for 91 yards against the Raiders last season. Fantasy-wise, this has been a smart play all season, but in the 23 Bristol races since NASCAR began tracking all the statistics used in daily fantasy NASCAR scoring, the pole sitter has stood out as the best race-to-race play, averaging 65.8 points per race. The next-best position averages 44.7.Thats not surprising, as the advantages of starting out front are heightened here. You get the best pit stall, which with the tight quarters of pit road could help avoid those pesky collisions.Plus, with the large number of available laps to lead here -- 500 ties for the most we run in a race all season -- taking the driver with the advantage off the start of the race provides a boatload of fantasy points right away, points that cannot be lost with a drop through the field.Each of the last four pole sitters at Bristol have finished with more than 70 points, headlined by Carl Edwards earlier this year, when he started first, finished first and led 276 laps along the way for 157.5 points.Side note: the race earlier this year was the sixth time in the last seven Bristol races that a Joe Gibbs Racing driver has sat on the pole.Going back to 2005, the pole sitter has averaged 94.5 laps led and 35.4 fastest laps per race. But starting in the front two rows can still offer high laps-led potential. Second averages 57.8 laps led, third 45.6 and fourth 46.7. His last four Bristol day races (run early in the season), hes averaged 10.6.Kyle Larson: Larson needs good runs to make the Chase (NASCARs version of the playoffs) for the first time, and hes shown the ability to race his way through the field at Bristol. Last year in this race, he led 90 laps and had 57 fastest laps from the 14th starting position (he finished seventh) for 95 points. Earlier this year, he had another 18 fastest laps, but finished 41st. But thats the only time in four Bristol races that hes finished with fewer than 50 points.Ricky Stenhouse Jr.: Value-wise, Stenhouse usually fits nicely on your roster, and strategy-wise, hes a great Bristol play. He has three finishes in the top six over the last four races at the track. In his Sprint Cup Series career, Stenhouse has just three other top-six finishes at all other tracks combined. ' ' '
