SANTA CLARA, Calif. - San Francisco 49ers quarterback Thad Lewis will miss the 2016 NFL season after tearing his left anterior cruciate ligament in Sundays preseason opener against the Houston Texans.Niners coach Chip Kelly confirmed the injury on Monday afternoon.Im just really disappointed for him because I thought he played well yesterday, Kelly said.
