TORONTO -- The Pittsburgh Penguins had their seven-game winning streak stopped Friday night when they lost 1-0 in overtime to the Los Angeles Kings. Ed Vosberg Jersey .The Stanley Cup champions will try to start a new streak Saturday night at Air Canada Centre when they play the Toronto Maple Leafs, who have one win in their past seven games. The Maple Leafs have lost their past two games by 3-2 scores in shootouts with the San Jose Sharks and the Arizona Coyotes.Another streak ended for the Penguins on Friday -- Sydney Crosbys nine-game point streak. He leads the NHL with 21 goals and has points in 20 of 25 games this season.Matt Murray made his fifth consecutive start for the Penguins on Friday and had 27 saves. They did a good job of packing it in and kept us to the outside for the most part, but we played really well, Murray said. It was just one of those nights. The Penguins picked up another injury on their defense. They already are without Kris Letang for about two weeks with a lower body injury incurred against the Boston Bruins on Wednesday. Derrick Pouliot was recalled from Wilkes-Barre/Scranton to take Letangs spot. The Penguins lost defenseman Trevor Daley to an upper-body injury in the second period on Friday and he was still being evaluated.Brian Dumoulin was hit by a puck in the cheek in the third period but was able to return. Those are two guys we need, and who play a lot of minutes, Dumoulin said of Letang and Daley.Pouliot had played one game against the Sharks earlier this season and played more than 18 minutes on Friday.I thought he did a real nice job, Penguins coach Mike Sullivan said. He kept his game simple. I thought he played within himself. He was playing with confidence. He used his mobility out there. I thought he had a strong game for his first game back.Maple Leafs center Nazem Kadri will be trying to stop Crosby.I dont think our game plan is to come out, have a shootout and trade chances, Kadri said. Thats not going to work in our favor. We have to be patient, we have to be defensively in sync. The Maple Leafs have made a change in their backup goaltender for the game Saturday. They have recalled Jhonas Enroth from the Marlies and loaned Antoine Bibeau to the AHL club.Enroth had cleared waivers recently before being assigned to the Marlies and Bibeau played well in a loss to the Colorado Avalanche on Sunday. Enroth made 24 saves in a 5-3 win over Hartford Dec. 10 in his only start for the Marlies. He has a 3.94 goals-against average in four starts for Toronto. The Maple Leafs learned Friday that they will be without defenseman Martin Marincin for four to six weeks. He suffered a lower-body injury in the win over the Bruins in Boston on Saturday when he went hard into the boards. The first diagnosis was that the injury was not serious, coach Mike Babcock said, but his condition did not improve. Frank Corrado, who has seldom played, might be the replacement for Marincin. The Maple Leafs know what they need to do to get back to winning. We play well with the puck, we have to learn better to play without it, goaltender Frederik Andersen said. Al Leiter Jersey . LeBron James and Chris Bosh didnt need any more. Williams scored 11 points in 10 minutes, Alan Anderson scored 17 points, and the Brooklyn Nets finished the exhibition season with a 108-87 win over the Miami Heat on Friday night. Ichiro Suzuki Jersey . Reassurance came from Paul Tesori, his caddie and close friend whose newborn son is in intensive care in a Florida hospital. "Paul sent me a text this morning, just told me he loved me and wanted to go out and fight as hard as I would any other day," Simpson said Sunday after doing just that. https:///...-jersey-marlins.html . -- In one brief spurt, Brazil turned a close game into a rout and proved again it will be a strong World Cup favourite.PITTSFORD, NY – David Hearns third round certainly was a colourful one. A look at his scorecard on the PGA.com website shows six birdies (those appear in blue), five bogeys (a light brown) and a double (a darker brown).  Add it all up and it spelled a tough day for the Brantford, Ont., resident who ended his day with that double and a score of 71.  After a great start to his week, Hearn has slipped each of the following two days, blaming his putter for the slide.  “The bottom line is I just didnt putt well enough today,” Hearn summarized. “Hopefully I can straighten that out (Sunday) and shoot a good score, maybe even get into red numbers.” Hearns day included missing some putts from knee-knock range on eight and nine, and then coming back with a solid birdie on the 10th after hitting his approach in to about six feet.  A hole later, his tee shot on the par-3 11th landed in some deep rough beside the green. He hacked it out, clanging it off the pin and dropping it into the hole for another birdie.  “I was just really trying to keep that one on the green,” he admitted. “To have it go in was a bonus.” He added another birdie at the 15th but stumbled home with a bogey on the 17th before his unfortunate double at the last. Those two final holes played as the first and third toughest on the course respectively Saturday and ate up more than their fair share of players. Still, Hearn waas hoping for a better ending to his day. Magneuris Sierra Jersey. nbsp; “Im a little disappointed in my finish,” he stated. “I had a string of birdies going on the back nine, but 17 and 18 are just playing so long. Theyre really more like par 5s. On 17, for example, I hit driver, 3-wood just to get there. Thats how long those holes are playing.” Despite that finish, it didnt take Hearn long to put it behind him. Hes able to laugh at himself for his hiccups and move on to the next challenge. It is, after all, only golf. Its his job and the way he makes his living, but he seems able to understand that getting upset over a bad finish is wasted energy. Hearn still has work to do on Sunday, a move up the leaderboard will assist him in the year-end FedEx cup playoffs. It will also put some cash in bank, which, with an $8 million purse, can be significant.  Throw in some Official World Golf Ranking Points and even a few Presidents Cup points, and Sunday is an important day.  “My goal for [Sunday] is to try and get into red numbers for the day and maybe even the week,” Hearn stated. “If I can put together a real nice Sunday round, shoot three or four under, I can move up into a good spot.” Even if that doesnt happen over the final 18 holes Hearn has certainly gained a lot this week. Hes taken another step in his career that has been a slow and steady climb, a climb that is proving nothing but a success.  ' ' '
