TORONTO， Jan. 22 (Xinhua) -- Phoenix Suns guard Eric Bledsoe scored a career-best 40 points， added 13 assists and 6 rebounds in the team's 115-103 win over the Toronto Raptors in Sunday evening's NBA action.
With the win， Phoenix improves to 7-17 on the road and 15-29 on the season overall.
Bledsoe played a game-high 42 minutes while shooting an efficient 11-for-17 (64.7 percent) from the field and a perfect 14-for-14 from the free throw line. The 27-year-old eclipses his previous high of 35 points recorded two months prior against Denver and becomes the first Suns players to score 40 or more points this season.
