EAST RUTHERFORD, N. http:///...rs-Cromartie-Jersey/ .J. -- Despite spraining his right ankle "pretty good," New York Giants safety Antrel Rolle expects to be ready for the season opener against the Dallas Cowboys. The Giants didnt have a timetable for Rolles return, but coach Tom Coughlin was more optimistic about having his leading tackler the past two seasons back "I hope he comes back next week," Coughlin said Tuesday after practice. "Why would I talk about week one." Wearing a protective boot on his foot, Rolle made it clear that he does not like being hurt and that he will do everything in his power to play quickly. "I hate missing even a practice, being out there with my teammates, my brothers," said Rolle, who has not missed a game in three seasons with the Giants. "This is very hard for me to accept but at the same time, I have to be smart about it. I am going to push myself because that is just who I am. I push myself with everything that I do to try to be out there with my guys as soon as possible." Rolle was hurt when his feet became tangled with tight end Bear Pascoe during a sideline pass on a 7-on-7 drill on Monday. The 30-year-said the injury happened before he jumped for the pass, with his ankle rolling both to the inside and outside. "To be honest, I didnt really know what to expect," Rolle said. "I am not the kind of guy that likes to lay on the field no matter what the injury is. I tried to get up and walk off but I just couldnt bear it. I couldnt bear it to do it. Did I think it was worse? Possibly just because I heard a couple of popping sounds in my ankle. I think it was just part of my ankle rolling, it was just cracking. Just thank God it is nothing too severe, nothing I cant work through with just a little bit of time and hard work. " A nine-year veteran Rolle is the leader of the secondary. He had a career-high 108 tackles last season and was a constant voice trying to make sure his teammates were on the same page. Ryan Mundy, the five-year veteran who is working with the first team since the injury, said Rolle talked to the defensive backs Tuesday morning, telling them to keep working and he would be back. "Hes one of the building blocks," defensive co-ordinator Perry Fewell said of Rolle. "Hes a brick. Hes always there. Hes tough. Hes the mortar that seals us. His presence is always valuable for us." Mundy spent the past four seasons with Pittsburgh, serving as the backup to Ryan Clark and Troy Polamalu. He signed with the Giants as a free agent in the off-season and made an impression early in training camp with a hit on Ryan Torain that gave the running back a concussion. It also was a hit that drew the ire of Coughlin. "I have a reputation for hitting people, but my time in Pitt, I did whatever I was asked to do," said Mundy, who intercepted a deep pass to Rueben Randle in practice. "If Troy was out of the game, I was playing strong safety. If Ryan Clark was out of the game, I was playing free safety. Thats just been my whole approach. Whatever I need to do to help the team out, Im more than willing to do it. Mundy said that he is still learning the defence but he is confident hell get it down. Coughlin has confidence in Mundy, but he is also expecting Rolle to be ready sooner than later. "He doesnt like to miss anything," Coughlin said. "Quite frankly, if he can avoid it, he misses nothing." And when it opened, every player was at his stall. Thats a sure sign that a team is in a slump and is searching for answers. Reigning world champion Eve Muirhead of Scotland opened with a 12-2 rout of Winnipegs Jennifer Jones in a battle of teams bound for the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi. PHILADELPHIA -- Two off-duty Philadelphia police officers injured in a February bar fight involving Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy filed a lawsuit Tuesday morning against the former NFL rushing leader in the Philadelphia Court of Common Pleas. The civil lawsuit marks the latest step in a legal battle that had previously gone all the way to the Pennsylvania Attorney Generals office but had failed to result in any criminal charges against McCoy or anyone else. Our investigation has confirmed that [officers] Darnell Jessie and Roland Butler were viciously attacked and beaten by LeSean McCoy and the additional defendants. As a result of the violent assault, both men have suffered serious and permanent injuries, said Fortunato N. Perri Jr., the attorney for the police officers involved in the fight.McCoys attorney, Dennis Cogan, was not available Tuesday morning when contacted for a comment. The lawsuit, obtained by Outside the Lines, names McCoy and three other members of his party: Curtis Brinkley, Tamarcus Porter and Christopher Henderson, all of whom were inside the Recess Lounge, a Philadelphia after-hours club, on Feb. 7.The Recess Lounge also is named as a defendant. Officers Jessie and Butler allege the club was negligent in failing to provide adequate security and for continuing to serve alcohol to McCoy, Brinkley, Porter and Henderson, who were already visibly intoxicated. In April, Philadelphia District Attorney Seth Williams ssaid McCoy wouldnt be criminally charged in the incident, concluding that he couldnt prove who initiated the fight. http://www.giantsrookiestore.com/Giants-Jonathan-Casillas-Jersey/. Williams said at the time that its legal to act in self-defense or the defense of others. The Pennsylvania Attorney Generals office subsequently decided to review Williams decision not to charge McCoy, at the request of the Philadelphia Fraternal Order of Police. In a July letter to the FOP, Bruce Castor, then the solicitor general of Pennsylvania in charge of the McCoy probe, wrote: I would have to not only disagree with the decision of DA Williams, but would have to conclude that his decision was so far off the mark as to be abusing the authority given him by the voters of Philadelphia. Applying that standard, I cannot say that I find DA Williams abused his discretion.Cogan told ESPN in July that McCoy was only trying to break up a fight between the officers and his friends, who had started arguing over a $350 bottle of champagne.Frankly, McCoy did nothing wrong. He was put through hell for no reason, Cogan said at the time.Police also have said the fight broke out over a misunderstanding about who had purchased the bottle of champagne.McCoy, 28, is in his second season with the Bills after playing six years with the Philadelphia Eagles.John Barr is a reporter in ESPNs Enterprise Unit. Wholesale NFL Jerseys Wholesale Nike NFL Jerseys NFL Jerseys From China Cheap Nike Basketball Jerseys Wholesale Hockey Jerseys China Nike Baseball Jerseys Cheap College Jerseys China Cheap Football Jerseys Wholesale Jerseys Canada Wholesale NHL Jerseys Canada Wholesale Nike MLB Jerseys Canada Cheap NBA Jerseys Authentic Canada Stitched Soccer Jerseys Canada Cheap Jerseys Canada NFL ' ' '
