John Saunders first sat down with us to host The Sports Reporters in the fall of 2001. Adidas Clark Gillies Jersey . The great Dick Schaap had been hosting the show for the 10 years or so before that. But Dick had just undergone hip surgery that went tragically wrong, none of us knowing at the time that he would never come out of the hospital.I knew full well about Johns body of work at ESPN all the way back to 1986, about his talent and versatility, his friendship with Jim Valvano, the tireless work John had done for The V Foundation for Cancer Research as a founding board member. But I was about to learn, starting with that first Sunday and then across all the Sundays, about all the good in him, all the humor and intelligence and immense decency. Most of all, I would learn about his gift of friendship. If you have ever watched The Sports Reporters, you know that we have long been having the kind of conversations about sports that they now have about politics all over the television dial on Sunday mornings, with Mitch Albom and Bob Ryan and Bill Rhoden, with Jemele Hill and Howard Bryant and Israel Gutierrez and all our other panelists. And what I knew by September 2001, after all my Sundays with Schaap, was how easy he made hosting the show look. What no one knew at the time was whether John would even want to be the full-time host, be part of the conversation on a permanent basis, be working with grown-ups so often acting like great, big kids. Or people talking sports at the end of the bar.But John was great from the start. He was tremendous and generous, allowing the rest of us to look good -- sometimes no small feat, believe me. But he really was that good at this kind of television. Best of all, people liked John Saunders. Somehow he had the gift that the very best broadcasters have, in that the people who watched him felt as if he were their friend, too. He made them feel like they were part of our conversation.I go through airports, John said, and people are always telling me the same thing, that sometimes theyre talking right along with us.Later I would tell him that, because of his grace and charm and ability to keep the whole thing under control, he was like Sidney Poitier in To Sir, With Love, bringing order to the kids in the back of the classroom. After the first show, I thought to myself, What in the world did I get myself into? John said once, laughing. My dear friend John Saunders died suddenly on Wednesday at the age of 61. He was a husband to Wanda and a father to two daughters. His brother Bernie, his best friend, was a hockey player, just as John was. We used to joke that John was another guy who came down out of Canada and didnt just take up one good job in television -- it was as if he wanted to take up all of them. He was a brilliant studio host, he could do play-by-play and he could somehow navigate, with his usual grace, all the housekeeping of the championship ceremonies after the last game of the college football season. He made it all look easy, Mike Breen, the voice of the NBA on ESPN and ABC, said on Wednesday morning. I used to marvel at the way he made all his jobs look that easy, even though those of us in the business know they werent.John had all the best stories about Valvano, and not just the funny ones, but about all the times, at the end of Valvanos long, terrible season battling cancer, when he would hold Valvano in his arms as a way of stopping the chills, even in the hours before Jimmy stood up and gave one of the most moving speeches in the history of sports, his Dont give up, dont ever give up speech at the ESPYS.Seeing how weak he was, I still dont know how he gave that speech, John would always tell me. I dont even know how he was able to stay standing. That was about his heart.Johns heart understood Vs. John had a ton of heart himself. He was an ex-hockey player, and he underwent so many surgeries because of his hockey career. He also suffered from diabetes, and there were some Sunday mornings when we would all see how weak he was when he showed up in our green room, his hands shaking, drinking orange juice, just trying to feel well enough to do the show. But he always did. And he would, because of his great heart, make it look easy again. He had a terrible fall one Saturday when he was hosting his college football shows on ABC. Another time there was a car accident, one John was lucky to survive. Of course, he came back from the accident and came back from the fall and, before long, was back in his chair on Sunday morning. There was a Sunday morning when he wasnt feeling particularly well, so right before he started talking at the top of the show, I leaned over and tapped him on the knee. He got through the show, of course. But it became a tradition with us, or a superstition. I did it every Sunday after that, all the way to our last show together a couple of weeks ago. That day he was telling me again how people were always asking why Lupica was hitting him every Sunday just as the show started.John laughed, again, and said, I tell them that your hitting me on one of my bad knees was just your way of showing how much you love me.There was no way to properly express, or explain, the love that I felt for John Saunders, who loved Wanda and his girls; who loved that he had lived long enough to see Barack Obama become president of the United States; who loved hockey, and his work, and the life his work had given him once he got to this country, permanently, from Canada. And you should know how much he loved doing his parting shots on Sunday; they were beautifully written, passionate when they had to be, funny when they had to be. But always smart. We have had two permanent hosts on The Sports Reporters: Mr. Schaap and Mr. Saunders. Ive had the uncommon good fortune to sit with both of them more than anybody in the history of the show. It should have been a hard thing for John to follow Dick. It became one more thing that he made look extraordinarily easy. In another time in sports, often the highest praise for professionalism was to say this: It was like watching Henry Aaron hit. Sitting next to John Saunders was like that. It was exactly like that.He is survived by his family, and his friends, and by this network, and by his business. John made his living with words. So many of us do. This is my own way, with memory and profound sadness, of saying one word I never expected to say this soon, not to the big man on my right for all those Sunday mornings: Goodbye. Adidas Matt Martin Jersey . WIMBLEDON -- This one had an uneasy air of inevitability.Californian Sam Querrey walked off Court No. 1 on Friday night with a stunning two-set lead on world No. 1 Novak Djokovic. But when they reappeared in the glaring light of Saturday afternoon -- as sometimes happens -- things looked a lot different. After a night to sleep on it, reality dawned and both players initially reverted to familiar form. But something funny happened on the way to a predictable Djokovic comeback victory.Actually, Sam Querrey happened -- in a spectacular way that he never quite has. For one day, anyway, he is Grand Sam.In a disjointed match interrupted four times by rain, Querrey stunned Djokovic 7-6 (6), 6-1, 3-6, 7-6 (5). It was, by consensus, one of the greatest upsets in recent Grand Slam history. And in the process, it ruined a host of glorious possibilities for the Serbian star. Its incredible, especially to do it here at Wimbledon, Querrey said minutes after the victory. Im so ecstatic and happy. Thus, Djokovics streak of 30 Grand Slam match-victories comes to an abrupt end. There will be no fifth straight major title or a calendar-year Slam, either. The last time Djokovic went out in the third round of a major was seven years ago, at the 2009 French Open. The critical difference against Djokovic? Querrey saved 14 of 17 break points -- amazing, considering he was opposite against the worlds best return man.He also hit 31 aces and only two double faults. Thirty-nine percent of his serves went unreturned. He played a terrific match, Djokovic said afterward. He served very well, as he usually he does. That part of his game was brutal today. He made a lot of free points. He just overpowered me.Just like Serena Williams, who seemed to succumb to the pressure of chasing history at least years US Open, Djokovic seemed constantly out of sorts and out of character. Three of the last four points in the pivotal tiebreaker were unforced errors on his part.Yet he denied that he was feeling the pressure of the moment.I dont think it played that big of a factor, to be honest, he said. I knew it was going to be very close.I managed to win four Grand Slams in row in two different seasons, though. I want to focus on that, rather than failure.Djokovic said he wasnt 100 percent healthy but declined to elaborate. Not really, he said, but its not the place and time to talk about it. Just wasnt feeeling the ball as well as I wished. Adidas Anders Lee Jersey. But thats sport. The casual tennis fan wandering into Saturdays match might wonder just who is Sam Querrey?A brief biography: Querrey turned professional in 2006 at the age of 19 and, riding a big serve and forehand, has reached the fourth round at three majors. His best career ranking came in January 2011, and he has made a comfortable living, collecting seven titles and more than $6 million in prize money. When hes out hitting balls in practice -- you can hear the force of his shots by the sound -- there arent many guys hitting bigger, observed Patrick McEnroe, the general manager of USTA player development from 2008-14. But he hasnt always had the confidence in his backhand that he has in his forehand.I feel hes sometimes hesitant to play big-man tennis. To put it mildly, Querrey has, in the past, been less than his best in the crucible of the fifth set. Before Saturday, he had lost 10 of 14 five-set matches. But the only time he lost after winning the first two sets came earlier this year at the Australian Open against Dusan Lajovic. After Lajovic won the third and fourth sets, Querrey retired when cramps set in.But here in the first round, Querreys less-under-pressure narrative appeared to change. He dropped the first two sets to Lukas Rosol, then came back to win 12-10 in the fifth. He was playing with such confidence, McEnroe added. I think what we saw goes back to his first-round match. The last U.S. player to beat a world No. 1 at Wimbledon was recently turned American citizen (and South African native) Kevin Curren, who defeated John McEnroe 31 years ago in a 1985 quarterfinal. The last American to beat the No. 1 in a Grand Slam was Andre Agassi, when he upset Lleyton Hewitt in the 2002 US Open semifinals.Querrey reversed two disturbing trends with one victory. Hes now 1-8 against the No. 1-ranked player and 1-9 versus top-10 players at Grand Slams. As a result, the draw has suddenly opened up, and Querrey next plays No. 51-ranked Nicolas Mahut in the fourth round. In theory, he could face No. 6 seed Milos Raonic in the quarterfinals. Afterward, he didnt want to think about it.Im just taking it one round at a time, Querrey said. Im just happy with this, taking it from there.Cheap NFL Jerseys Cheap NFL Jerseys China Cheap Jerseys From China Cheap NFL Jerseys Authentic Wholesale Jerseys China Cheap NFL Jerseys China NFL Cheap Jerseys ' ' '

SPRINGFIELD, N. Langston Galloway Jersey .J. -- In a major championship season of endless theater, the PGA Championship lived up to its end of the bargain Friday.Robert Streb led the way, even if hardly anyone noticed. As thousands of fans crammed into the closing holes at Baltusrol to see if Jason Day could finish off his amazing run and Phil Mickelson could make it to the weekend, Streb hit a 6-iron into 20 feet on his final hole at the par-3 ninth for a shot at 63.He made the birdie putt during a TV commercial break, making him the 28th player to shoot 63 in a major, and the third in the last 16 days.It was pretty noisy for the 15 people that were out there, Streb said.No matter where anyone was at Baltusrol, there was no shortage of entertainment.Mickelson hit his opening tee shot off the property and onto a side street and made triple bogey, only to rally to make the cut. Rickie Fowler finished birdie-eagle to get back into the picture. Rory McIlroy only needed to birdie the par-5 18th, the easiest hole on the course, to make the cut. From the fairway, he made bogey and was headed home to figure out what was wrong with his putting.A second round that began in rain with one group given the wrong hole location on No. 10 ended with Streb and Jimmy Walker sharing the lead and becoming the eighth and ninth players to match the 36-hole record in the PGA Championship at 131.Walker had to settle for a 4-under 66, right when he had the 36-hole record for all majors (130) within his reach with two par 5s remaining. But he hit into the hospitality area well left of the 17th and scrambled for par, and then his tee shot narrowly missed its mark and found the water on the 18th, leading to bogey.Even so, he was tied at the halfway point of a major. Its going to be a new experience, and it will be fun, Walker said. You still have to go perform. Doesnt matter what tournament it is.Day dropped to even par with a double bogey on No. 7, and that appeared to wake up the worlds No. 1 player. Day went on a tear with seven birdies over his next eight holes, two of them from 18 feet, one of them from 35 feet. Suddenly, he was on the verge of a shot at 63 until he hooked his tee shot to the base of the hospitality area on the 17th, and pushed a driving iron into the right rough on the 18th. He settled for pars at both for a 65.Day was right where he wanted to be, three shots behind going into the weekend, his name high on the leaderboard for everyone to see. At stake is a chance to join Tiger Woods as the only back-to-back PGA champions since the stroke-play era began in 1958.Day was joined at 7-under 133 by Emiliano Grillo, the talented young Argentine who worked hard on his putting at Baltusrol and watched it pay off. Grillo got this afternoon of birdies going by making five of them in a seven-hole stretch on the back nine until he cooled on the front and had to settle for a 67.This is new territory for him, too.Just like Walker and Streb, he has never even contended in a major.Ive never been in this situation, and Im not afraid of it, Grillo said. Im going to go out and enjoy it.By the end of the day, it was easy to overlook a familiar figure -- Henrik Stenson, the British Open champion who made eagle on the 18th at the turn and polished off another 67. He was only four shots behind in his bid to match Ben Hogan as the only players to win two straight majors at age 40.Mickelson made the cut, and that might have been the most entertaining of all.He began his round with a tee shot so far left that it sailed off the property, bounced along Shunpike Road and caromed to the left down Baltusrol Way. Wherever it finished, it was out-of-bounds, and Mickelson had to scramble for a triple bogey. He spent the rest of the day battling to get back, and he delivered on the 18th with a birdie to post a 70.I think in the history of the PGA Championship, thats the worst start of any players round. Id have to look it up, Mickelson said.No need to. Someone pointed out that Nicolas Colsaerts piped two over the fence and made 8.Im having a difficult time right now managing my expectations, because I know how well Im playing and Im so result-oriented that Im not playing very relaxed, free golf like I did at the British, like I did in the preparation here, Mickelson said. Two weeks ago at Royal Troon, where Mickelson opened with a 63 and Stenson close with a 63, it was just those two players in a duel that ranked among the greatest. At Baltusrol, a dozen players were separated by five shots going into the weekend, a group that included Martin Kaymer (69). Jordan Spieth was finally back in the mix, at least on the fringes, after a hot start that led to a 67. He was in the group six shots behind. The biggest surprise was Streb, who became the fourth player with a 63 at Baltusrol. Jack Nicklaus and Tom Weiskopf each had 63 in the opening round of the 1980 U.S. Open, and Thomas Bjorn shot 63 in the third round in the 2005 PGA Championship.Streb hasnt had a top 10 on the PGA Tour since he tied for 10th in the PGA Championship last year. He found something in his swing a few weeks ago, birdied the last four holes a week ago Friday in the Canadian Open just to make the cut, and grabbed a sliver of history at Baltusrol. Jason Williams Jersey . - NASCAR announced a 33-race schedule for the 2014 Nationwide Series with virtually no changes from this years slate. Custom Sacramento Kings Jerseys . ST. Sandalia Da Puma Rihanna Negro Hombre/Mujer Leadcat Fenty Fur Slide . ANDREWS -- Stacy Lewis felt such a spiritual connection with St. Andrews that even when she was three behind with three to play, she never lost hope she could win the Womens British Open. No way could she have scripted a finish like this. Facing the scariest shot and the hardest hole on the Old Course -- the approach to the 17th, the famous Road Hole -- Lewis pictured a low 5-iron that a right-to-left wind would knock down and allow to bounce up the slope toward the flag without going over the back of the green. "Its one of those shots you see in your head, but you dont really ever pull it off," Lewis said. "And just off the club face, it was perfect." The ball settled 3 feet away for birdie, the best shot of the tournament, maybe the best of her career. Then, she wisely used putter from 40 yards short of the 18th green, through the Valley of Sin to 25 feet. Lewis bent over and placed both hands on her knees after making the putt, a birdie-birdie finish that gave another special moment at the home of golf -- her second major title. Lewis saved her best for the final two holes of a marathon finish Sunday and closed with an even-par 72 for a two-shot victory over Na Yeon Choi and Hee Young Park. It ended a record drought for the Americans in the majors -- 10 straight, all won by Asian players. "Its unbelievable," Lewis said. "It all happened so fast at the end. Youre afraid for every shot, and all of a sudden you make a couple of birdies and its over." It was over early for Inbee Park and her bid to become the first pro golfer to win four straight majors in a single season. Returning to the Old Course in the morning in calm conditions to complete 14 holes of her third round, she couldnt make a putt and lost ground. Park had a 74-78 finish and wound up 14 shots behind. "Im really relieved," she said. "I really enjoyed this week, every moment I was here. But its tough to be in the centre of everything for a week, and I feel exhausted." The last time Lewis was on these hallowed grounds of golf was in 2008 for the Curtis Cup, her final event as an amateur, and she went 5-0 in her matches to lead the Americans to victory. The love affair continued this week, and her second big win at St. Andrews was even sweeter. "I love the golf course more than anything. I love the history. I almost felt like I was meant to be here," Lewis said. "I think I was happy being here all week, and I was comfortable. And I think thats a lot of the reason Im here right now." Having the silver trophy at her side also required no less than her best golf over 36 holes Sunday. The wind wasnt as bad as Saturday, when 40 mph gusts suspended play and forced 20 players go to 36 holes Sunday. But it was strong enough in the afternoon that Lewis was the only player at par or better from the last 21 groups that teed off. Choi had a three-shot lead with six holes to play until she had a pair of three-putt bogeys from 80 feet. Her hybrid was too strong on the 17th and hung up on the collar of rough at the back of the green. She missed a 6-foot par putt that ended her chances, and she closed with a 73. Choi saw that Lewis had posted at 8-under 280, she just didnt know how she got there. And she couldnt believe it when she heard. "She got birdie on 17 and 18? Thats huge, especially this golf course," Choi said. "I feel like I missed a couple putts out there, but still, shes playing well. Shes playing better than me. I think thats why she won. I think I have to accept that." Hee Young Park, one of four players who shared the lead at some point in the final round, had three straight bogeys on the back nine and shot 73. Morgan Pressel had the 54-hole lead after a 71 in the wind-delayed third round that was played Sunday morning. Pressel was one shot behind until a double bogey on No. 12, and she never caught up. Pressel shot 76 and tied for fourth with Suzann Pettersen (74). The consolation for Pressel was earning the last spot available from the world ranking to make her third straight Solheim Cup team. It was the second time the Womens British Open was played at St. Andrews, and Lewis provided another quality winner. Lorena Ochoa won in 2007. Lewis last year became the first American since Beth Daniel in 1994 to win LPGA player of the year, which is based on a points system. Then, she won twice early this season to reach No. 1 in the world. That lasted only until Park won the first major and kept right on going. Sunday was another stage for Lewis to show her grit. She was diagnosed with scoliosis when she was 11, so severe that she wore a back brace for 18 hours every day from age 11 until she got out of high school, and then had to have surgery when that didnt correct the curvature in her spine. She went on to win an NCAA title at Arkansas, star at St. Andrews in the Curtis Cup and then take the 54-hole lead in her first U.S. Womens Open as a pro. Lewis won the Kraft Nabisco in 2011, the last American major champion in womens golf until her remarkable performance Sunday. Nothing was more impressive than her 5-iron on the 17th, one of the toughest par 4s in golf that starts with a blind tee shot over the corner of the Old Course Hotel. Lewis drilled it in the middle of the fairway, and couldnt remember how far she had for her second shot. With the wind, it didnt matter. This is the kind of shot that must be felt, and her 5-iron was hit with the right trajectory and line to catch the slopes perfectly and feed toward the hole. "That might be one of the best of my career," Lewis said. Oddly enough, it was Lewis who said she would like to play the role of spoiler at St. Andrews to stop Inbee Parks bid for history. With the trophy at her side, Lewis marveled at what Park had accomplished this year. "I dont know if youll ever see three in a row again," Lewis said. "Thats pretty incredible." Lewis now is at one in a row, headed to the Solheim Cup in two weeks on a high, and then to France in September for the fifth and final LPGA Tour major at the Evian Championship. She didnt mind losing the No. 1 ranking because Park earned it. Lewis looked strong enough Sunday at St. Andrews to believe she can get it back one day. Sandalia Da Puma Rihanna Rosa Hombre/Mujer Leadcat Fenty Fur Slide . DENVER -- On the mound, Adam Wainwright likes to own the inside part of the plate. Ultra Boost Løbesko .As hes only recently discovered, crowding it is a pretty good approach for hitting, too.Although shaky on the hill, Wainwright shined in the batters box with a career-high four RBI as the St. Louis Cardinals beat the Colorado Rockies 10-5 on Tuesday night to move into a three-way tie for the two NL wild cards.Wainwright credits inching just a little bit closer for his newfound prowess at the plate. My whole career, Ive fought trying to pull the ball and tried to stay up the middle and hit the ball to right field. It just doesnt work for me very well, explained Wainwright, who has 18 RBI this season. If its a pitch in the strike zone, Im going to swing at it.The free-swinging Wainwright lined a two-run double in the second inning and brought in two more with a bloop single in the fifth. Matt Adams and Jedd Gyorko homered for the Cardinals, now even with the Mets and Giants in the race for the final two NL playoff spots. The 35-year-old Wainwright (12-9) didnt have his sharpest command, yielding solo homers to Daniel Descalso, Charlie Blackmon and Gerardo Parra. But the right-hander was sharp enough -- especially his curveball -- as he gave up four runs in 5 1/3 innings. In a park like this, in a place where no lead is safe, a pitcher, if you can go out there and push something across ... youre doing your job, Wainwright explained.Jorge De La Rosa (8-9) struggled through what could be his final start in a Rockies uniform. The winningest pitcher in team history allowed eight runs -- seven earned -- in 4 2/3 innings. His contract expires after this season. It looked like he just didnt have a lot of depth to his stuff, Rockies manager Walt Weiss said.Wainwright became the second straight Cardinals pitcher to play a starring role at the plate. Carlos Martinez had a two-run double in a 5-3 win on Monday. These days, Cardinals manager Mike Matheny just cant help but scoreboard-watch. Its hard to miss, since the scores are posted on the right-field fence and he stares at it from the dugout. And yes, he saw it when the Mets game went final.Just keep playing our game, Matheny said. Not get caught up.Adams had a solo homer in the second and Gyorko added a two-run shot in the fourth -- a 452-foot no-doubter to center. Gyorko has 27 homers this season.DJ LeMahieus average remained at .349 after he went 1 for 3 with a double. He holds a slight lead over Washingtons Daniel Murphy in the NL batting race. Mauricio Pochettino declared himself very disappointed after Tottenham were held to a 1-1 draw at home by Leicester on Saturday. Adidas NMD R2 Sverige . Vincent Janssen gave Spurs the lead from the penalty spot late in the first half, but Ahmed Musa levelled after the break with Leicesters only shot on target.Spurs have now drawn three successive games in the Premier League and have not won in five matches in all competitions. We were very disappointed with the way we conceded the goal, Spurs boss Pochettino told Sky Sports. They had only one shot on target, all the stats are in our favour, and we feel very disappointed after that game.We always try and go forward, we created chances but we were not clinical in front of goal. Watch highlights of the match We deserved more, we played better and were the team always trying to win the game. Its a bit of a shame that we only took one point. Its an important point for them but we have lost two points. One positive from the game was summer signing Janssen netting his first league goal, albeit from the penalty spot.I have been happy with him from when he arrived, said Pochettino. We are happy with the way he is playing. I understand it is a lot of pressure because Harry [Kane] is injured, but he works very hard every day.Spurs will be hoping that Kane is fit to return from injury next weekend as they travel to north London rivals Arsenal.Toby Alderweireld could also be in contention to feature, although Pochettino said: We will see, it might be difficult for Bayer Leverkusen [in the Champions League in midweek], but maybe Arsenal. LONDON -- About a quarter of those watching on Centre Court had yet to return to their seats when Andy Murray and Tomas Berdych got underway. Mens Adidas Ultra Boost Running Shoes Orange On Sale . Bjorn Borg had, though -- he didnt want to miss a thing. The five-time Wimbledon champion watched from the Royal Box as Murray secured a routine 6-3, 6-3, 6-3 win over Berdych to reach his third final here. It was his 52nd match win at the The Championships overall, which took him past the Swede in that statistic.Borg was once the darling of Wimbledon, and he was eventually succeeded by seven-time champion Roger Federer. But now, with Federer on the wane -- the great Swiss champion lost to Milos Raonic?over five sets in Fridays first semifinal -- Murray has a chance to further his claim to being the next person to fill that role. For the first time going into a major final, Murray, ranked No. 2 in the world, will be the favorite. He has consistently played better than anyone in these championships, handling the pressure and expectation adroitly in his bid to become a two-time champion here.Murray admitted he has an eye on the sporting legacy he will leave, too, when the time comes to put down his racket. The 29-year-old twice mentioned the subject of age in his postmatch interview with the BBC.The older you get, you never know how many chances youre going to have to play in Grand Slam finals. You want to make the most of your opportunities, he said.Im glad I managed to get through today. The older you get, the more experienced you are, which helps deal with the nerves in these situations. You learn from those matches for sure. Having had those experiences in the past helped me a lot, playing against some of best players of all time. I know what I have to do to get to the latter stages of these tournaments. That Murray is now seventh on the list for most all-time wins at the All England Club is evidence, were any needed, that he deserves to be remembered as one of the games greats. He has equalled Ken Rosewall in 10th place for most Grand Slam wins overall with 171, and will overtake Fred Perry as the British man with most major final appearances on Sunday, when he makes his 11th overall.Yes, he has only won two of those, and it has been a three-year wait since the last, which came on the same court where he will face Raonic (Sunday, 9 a.m. ET on ESPN & WatchESPN).But, in overtaking Borg, Murray has showed just how consistently he has challenged at the top of the game, and for how long, in an era featuring three of the greatest players of all time.Federer, Rafael Nadal and Novak Djokovic have repeatedly foiled the Scot at the majors throughout his career. The Swiss has beaten him in three finals, Djokovic in five -- including this years Australian Open and French Open, when he ran out of gas in both matches. But none of those three will be standing on the other side of the net on Sunday. This is the first time in a long time that Novak or Rogers not been in a slam final, Murray later told a press conference. Its obviously an opportunity. I put myself in a position to try and win the event again. Its against someone new that Im playing against in the final.?But Milos is a very tough opponent. Hes played very well on the grass this year and has earned his right to the final by beating one of the best, if not the best player, ever at this event. So he deserves to be there. These tournaments are why Im still playing and why Im training hard and trying to win these events. Thats what really motivates me. Ive been in the latter stages a number of times, won some, obviously lost some tough ones, as well. Id love to win it again obviously. Adidas Springblade UK .J. -- Seven games into a disappointing season, New York Giants defensive catalyst Jason Pierre-Paul is getting the feeling hes back. Adidas Ultra Boost Mens White . The Vikings announced Thursday that Priefer will be one of seven holdovers from the previous staff, along with offensive line coach Jeff Davidson, wide receivers coach George Stewart and others. Norv Turner will mark his 30th year of coaching in the NFL as the offensive co-ordinator, as widely reported for weeks, and George Edwards will be the defensive co-ordinator. http://www.runningshoesonlineuk.com/womens-adidas-ultra-boost-trainers.html . SIMONS ISLAND, Ga.Alastair Cook says his England sides inexperience in sub-continent conditions cost them victory in the second Test against Bangladesh in Dhaka. Chasing 273 to win, England collapsed dramatically in the final session on day three, losing all 10 wickets for 64 runs in succumbing to a 108-run defeat. They had been well placed at 100-0 at tea, with Ben Duckett notching a first Test fifty, and Cook himself went through to a half century after the interval while wickets tumbled around him. Today we showed our inexperience in these conditions, said Cook. A lot of these guys have not played many Test matches over here and when that ball got rolling we found it very hard to stop. Highlights of day three of the second Test between Bangladesh and England in Dhaka I was out there for a lot of it as well and I couldnt stop that ball. Ive played a bit of cricket in the sub-continent, and Ive found these two games particularly tough. The first 20, 30 balls are so difficult to start with - theres pressure, men round the bat, the crowd get into it, and its a very unique pressure.Plus youve got one ball skidding on and then the next one ragging past your stumps. It will have opened a lot of the guys eyes to that. The top order have struggled, we cant hide from that. But what was really pleasing today though, was the way Duckett played. Englands Ben Duckett (right) impressed Cook before the batting collapse in the evening session on day three It has been incredibly tough for him. Ive been around the bblock a bit, but he said to me, Ive never opened the batting before against two spinners. 2017 Adidas Ultra Boost Mens Running Shoes Navy/White. uddenly you have to do it on big turning pitches, and its hard work - today you saw the way hed have loved to have played all series. He probably worked out his method a little bit more, and it was really good to see. After the Dhaka defeat, Cook also called for improvement from his spinners ahead of the five-match Test series with India which begins on Wednesday, November 9.Were not blessed at the moment with a world-class spinner, said Cook. Weve got to make do with the best weve got. England coach Trevor Bayliss has berated too many missed chances as England fell to a 108-run loss in the second Test Our spinners have to try to hold a length better. Hopefully that can happen with a lot of hard work.I thought Zafar Ansari improved as the game went on. He was a little bit nervous, understandably so for the first game of his Test career, but he got better and bowled really well today. He could have taken six-for quite easily if we had taken our chances. Today, we should have been chasing 230. Those half chances need to stick in low scoring games. Adil Rashid bowled well at the end to take four wickets and Moeen Ali was good in the first innings. There are glimpses of the right stuff, though there is improvement to be made.Watch highlights of day three of the second Test between Bangladesh and England on Sky Sports 5 at 5pm, then stay tuned for the Verdict at 6pm on the same channel.
